How to Use the Laveo Dry Flush Toilet


Using the Laveo Dry Flush Toilet is simple and requires no plumbing or water. Here's how:

  1. Lift the Lid – Open the toilet seat and make sure it’s ready for use.

  2. Do Your Business – Use the toilet just like you would a regular one.

  3. Use Pee Powder – Pour 1 teaspoon of pee powder (or as directed on the bottle) over liquid waste.

  4. Flush – Press the flush button to activate the dry flush system. The waste is sealed inside a disposable, odor-free cartridge.

  5. Close the Lid – Always close the lid after use.



How to Reset the Laveo Dry Flush Toilet


Once your cartridge is full (after approximately 15 flushes), follow these steps to reset and replace it:

  1. Lift the Lid and Toilet Seat – Open the seat to access the interior.

  2. Remove the Bowl Cover – Under the seat, there is a white cover that needs to be removed and set aside.

  3. Remove and Dispose of the Used Cartridge – Pull out the black garbage bag with the rubber band that holds the used cartridge, and dispose of it properly.

  4. Replace the Garbage Bag – Take a new bag from the provided kit and place it inside the bucket, securing it with the rubber band.

  5. Place the Bucket Back Inside – Ensure the bucket is aligned with the square notch at the bottom of the toilet.

  6. Insert a New Cartridge – Place the new cartridge into the toilet, with the cardboard going in first.

  7. Replace the Bowl Cover and Lower the Seat – Put the cover back in place, close the seat, and your toilet is ready for use again!
